We’re really pleased to welcome Tejas to the team as our new in-house Finance Manager.
Tejas was born in India and completed her high school education there before making a huge move at just 18 years old, relocating to Canada on her own. She went on to live there for 10 years, becoming a Canadian citizen and gaining invaluable life and professional experience along the way.
During her time in Canada, Tejas studied Business Administration in Accounting at NAIT, and has since spent almost nine years working in Finance and Accounting, a field she’s truly passionate about. Alongside her qualifications, she’s had the chance to work with people from many different cultures, building friendships that became family and learning lessons that only come from stepping far outside your comfort zone.
Now back in India to spend time with her family, Tejas brings with her a wealth of experience and a global perspective. In her role with us, she’ll be focusing on the business finance side of the company, including reporting within Simpro, helping to strengthen our internal processes, and supporting the continued growth of the business.
Outside of work, Tejas loves travelling and has explored many of Canada’s most scenic destinations, as well as parts of India. She’s keen to continue seeing more of the world in the future. She also enjoys sketching and has a real soft spot for animals.
Tejas is already settling in well, and we’re excited to have her on board. We’re looking forward to the impact she’ll make as part of the team.
