National Apprenticeship Week at Electrical Testing UK!

National Apprenticeship Week is a great opportunity to shine a light on the people helping to shape the future of our industry. This year, we are proud to celebrate five apprentices who are developing their skills, building their careers, and becoming valued members of our team.

Across the week, we introduced each apprentice individually. Here, we are bringing their stories together to recognise their hard work, commitment, and the important role apprenticeships play within our business.

Callum Buss

Callum has been with us since 2021 and is now close to completing his apprenticeship, which is a fantastic achievement and a real credit to the effort he has put in over the years.

He is a familiar and valued member of the team, with strong family ties to the business as his brother also works with us. Outside of work, Callum is a big fan of cars and airsoft, and enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and camping.

We are incredibly proud of how far Callum has come and look forward to seeing what the next stage of his career brings.

Ben Jansons

Ben joined us in 2023 and is currently in Year 2 of his apprenticeship. Despite this, he is already progressing at the level of a Year 3 apprentice, which speaks volumes about his attitude, ability, and commitment to learning.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys going to the gym, travelling, and socialising with colleagues. His positive energy makes him a great presence both on and off the job.

We are really pleased with Ben’s development so far and excited to see him continue to grow with us.

Jack Pittam

Jack joined the team in 2024 and is also currently in Year 2 of his apprenticeship. Like Ben, he is already performing at the level of a Year 3 apprentice, showing impressive progress in a short space of time.

Jack enjoys going to the gym, has a strong interest in cars, likes socialising, and takes part in airsoft. He is a well-rounded individual and a great addition to the team.

We are delighted with how Jack is developing and look forward to supporting his future with us.

Jorge Allen-Burgess

Jorge joined us in 2025 and is in Year 1 of his apprenticeship. He has settled in well and is already building a strong foundation for his career.

Outside of work, Jorge enjoys fashion, gaming, and spending time with family. He is also currently learning to drive, which is an exciting milestone alongside the start of his apprenticeship journey.

We are pleased to have Jorge as part of the team and look forward to supporting his continued development.

Jake Johnson

Jake also joined us in 2025 and is currently in Year 1 of his apprenticeship. From the outset, he has shown great enthusiasm and commitment as he begins his career with us.

Outside of work, Jake is extremely dedicated to the gym, and that discipline and drive clearly carry through into his work ethic.

We are pleased to have Jake on board and excited to see how he progresses.

Investing in the Future

Apprenticeships are a vital part of our business, allowing us to develop skilled, motivated individuals while supporting them in building long-term careers. Each of our apprentices brings something unique to the team, and we are proud to play a role in their professional journeys.

A huge thank you to all of our apprentices and to everyone who supports them. National Apprenticeship Week is a reminder of just how valuable these opportunities are, not only for individuals, but for the future of our industry as a whole.
